Description of Duties:
Develop work breakdown structures, milestones, critical paths and maintain project schedules for projects including the first ever Hybrid Ferries on U.S. east coast; Develop work breakdown structures, milestones, critical paths and maintain project schedules of offshore wind farm support vessels (Crew Transfer Vessels) and other supporting infrastructures as part for achieving 30GW of renewable offshore wind power by 2030; Develop reports and facilitate project schedule meetings to discuss progress and productivity of offshore wind projects in terms of budget hours, material costs and timeline; Facilitate and lead process improvement meetings with production team to identify ways to improve quality, timeline and efficiency of ongoing projects; Work with Operations Manager, Project Managers and Production Supervisors in budget allocation; Work with Operations Manager, Project Managers and Production Supervisors in developing manning plan; Establish processes and procedures for smooth transition of engineering drawings to production on-site and ensure ISO compliance; Establish processes and procedures to ensure production hours are documented accurately and ensure ISO compliance; Facilitate and lead Process Improvement Meetings to evaluate process flow, challenges, operational efficiency and provide recommendations; Serve as liaison between production team and management to document, communicate and implement any process improvement update; Liaising with project managers, supervisors and leadman for feedback to ensure current processes are adequate to deliver results as planned and working at its optimum level; Liaising with project managers and supervisors to update project schedules including work breakdown structure, milestones, critical path and deliverables; Conduct Leadman Training sessions to review, promote and improve their leadership skills, deliverables, documentation control, and productivity; Generate reports and analyze productivity of each work trades and recommend solutions for any improvements needed; Participate in engineering model review meetings and provide recommendations as needed; Assist estimation department in submitting bid packages.

Required Education: Master’s in Engineering Management, Project Management or related field.
Required Experience: Twelve (12) months as Project Manager or related in shipbuilding/repair industry.
Salary: $142,000.00/year full time
